Known for its avant-garde approach, Correio do Estado, was one of the first newspapers in Brazil to work with computers in the newsroom and to print in full colour; it has recently redesigned its graphic set with a view to improving the quality of its product. The new front page was created to make it more attractive visually and enhance the newspaper’s identity. Additionally, the paper employed a strong hierarchical structure and a more direct language, which brought it closer to the reader. The new design makes navigation between pages and sections more fluid. Reading is made easier thanks to the supporting graphic pieces, used for all the openings.
